MICHELLE OBAMA STEM ELEMENTARY ACADEMY

Michelle Obama STEM Elementary Academy (MOST) is the newest elementary school in Clayton County, opening in August 2021. This is a state of the art elementary school focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The building is approximately 170,000 square feet and is designed to serve 1,200 students and cost over $40 million dollars to construct. It features approximately 75 classrooms, several technology and STEM labs, an engineering lab, outdoor classroom spaces, and a solar panel array for educational purposes. The school was designed by J.W. Robinson & Associates and AH&P provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the school, and the open industrial interior design allows those systems to be seen and appreciated.
