SOUTH BIBB RECREATION CENTER / RANDY STEVENS TENNIS CENTER

AH&P provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for Bibb County’s newest recreation center that opened in 2018. In addition to a pool, playground, and gym the rec center is also home to the Randy Stephens Tennis Center. Featuring 23 full size tennis courts and 8 smaller courts the tennis center is open to the public and hosts regular events such as local league matches, USTA tournaments (including the GA state mixed doubles state championship in September 2022), and lessons for beginners. Three AH&P engineers are currently taking lessons there actually. It was just announced that the center won a United States Tennis Association’s Outstanding Facility Award in August 2022.
