HENRY COUNTY DISTRIBUTION CENTER
For years Henry County Schools leased space to use for warehousing and distribution, but leasing has it’s downsides so they decided to build their own facility. By owning the space themselves they don’t have to worry about moving every few years and they’re saving tax payer money. Manley Spangler Smith did the architectural design and AH&P did the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the building. The building has over 47,000sq.ft including some office and meeting space and cost approximately $4.5 million to construct. The large tank outside the building is a 114,000 gallon fire protection tank.
